Expanded Granular Sludge Bed (EGSB) anaerobic tank

The EGSB anaerobic tank, namely the Expanded Granular Sludge Bed reactor, is a third-generation ultra-efficient anaerobic reactor developed on the basis of the UASB reactor. It utilizes a high upward flow velocity of the liquid surface to fully expand the granular sludge bed, enabling sufficient contact between sewage and microorganisms and enhancing the mass transfer effect. In this way, it achieves an efficient anaerobic reaction, converting organic matter in wastewater into biogas.
